[Today, a single rose has been placed at the feet of the statue of Aphrodite in accordance with the laws for celebrating Aphrodisia.

When you ate your breakfast this morning, you might have noticed it was delicious, even better than usual. Maybe the nymphs and harpies took extra care, or maybe there was a little Love Potion No. 9 in it.

Flower crowns look good on anyone. Do you want one? I can run to my cabin to get some fresh flowers if you do.

[Why is he feeling so shy around Courf all of a sudden? They've been friends for years, he's over the shyness with him by now!]

[He gives Courf a look that might be "please come with me".]

I'd love to help you pick the flowers.

[He didn't even need to see the look Jehan was giving him to offer. He stands up and holds both hands out to Jehan to help him up.]

[Jehan takes both hands. Him standing brings him very close to Courfeyrac, which makes Jehan blush even more]

Ah, s-sorry...

[His smile comes easy. He doesn't even bother stepping away from Jehan when the other finds himself so close.]

[Oh, so his voice came lower than usual. Oops.]

[Oh, tingles. Courfeyrac looks really, really nice this close.

Jehan starts to say something, stammers, and tries again]

[He smiles and might have been leaning closer. Fingers lacing with Jehan's, he tries to control his breathing.]

That flower looks really good on you.

[.... Yeah, just as smooth as Courf right here.]

R-really? It doesn't clash too terribly with my...me-ness?

[He releases one of Jehan's hands to bring it up to play with his hair near the flower.]

No... It's perfect, I think.

M-maybe it's because you picked it?

[Quickly, suddenly nervous because oh gods Courf is really really close and really really handsome and has his smile always been that charming?]

I mean, you're really good at...matching things...or something, I...

[Yes, yes it has. But for some reason it's extra charming today. Don't ask how or why. He smiles as Jehan stumbles over his words... and well. Why the hell not? He leans in and cuts him off from all of that with a kiss.]

[Um. Okay.

Jehan, unable to think, returns the kiss for a moment before pulling away. He's a furious red now, and his face is hot. He's also a little confused.]

C-Courf...?

[dandylicious]

[He pulls away a little farther now, dropping that hand that was at Jehan's hair.]

Sorry... We should go pick those flowers now.

[shylyintrepid]

U-um. Yeah. Maybe. That's...yeah, a good idea.

[He's not moving though. Courf is just too attractive. It feels like he can't]

[He squeezes Jehan's hand a little before attempting to tug him along.]

By your cabin, right? That's where the best ones are?

[shylyintrepid]

Y-yeah. We tend to them. Roses and lilies and daisies and all sorts of flowers.

[He follows. So red. So flustered. What is happening?]

[dandylicious]

[He leads the way to Demeter's cabin, letting go of Jehan's hand only when they're near the flowers.]

I will follow your lead now.

[shylyintrepid]

[Jehan nods]

Okay...lilies aren't good for this, not really...roses?

[dandylicious]

Roses are nice... Something that brings out my eyes, I think, as far as colors go.

[shylyintrepid]

What color are they?

[He turns to look at Courf, blushing again. Dammit!]

[dandylicious]

[Sorry, he really couldn't help himself. He grins and leans a little closer so Jehan can get a good look at his eyes: Dark brown with hints of amber.]

Brown. Though, I'm wounded you didn't already know.

[shylyintrepid]

[Mental keysmashing! Jehan stammers, unable to look Rey in the eye]

I--I've never noticed before...!

[dandylicious]

[He frowns a little.]

That's probably because you won't look me in the eye.

N-no! I just...never noticed before.

[He tries to look up but just ends up biting his lip and glancing away after a second or two, shy around one of his best friends for some inexplicable reason]
