Shot 03 -- IM/Action

So I started teaching Cosette to shoot the other day an' I got to thinking. Sure, archery's handy an' all but guns. Guns are a lot more likely t'kill whatever you're aimin' to kill. I'm an Apollo kid, I can shoot both, so why not see if I can teach other people to use guns. So, if anyone's interested, I'm gonna start offering shooting lessons outside of the archery ones.

[well, in any case, at least this time he's doing something useful instead of breaking things without even asking to use them. There's still a stern look on her face, but Cosette is her good friend and a Commootee member.]

And how is Cosette's progress coming along?

Just started a few days ago. We're still workin' on the basics.

And is she picking things up well, or...?

[You didn't answer her question, Bucky.]

I dunno, I only started teaching her. Give her a little bit.

I'll have to ask her about it later, then.

[She sighs a little bit, continuing on.]

It's nice of you to teach her, in any case. I think guns will prove to be much more lethal on monsters than arrows could be.

Exactly. Arrows are cool an' all, but bullets are a little easier to kill monsters with.

The one good thing about them is that at least you can retrieve the arrows from the monsters once they've been sent to Tartarus and re-use them.

[it's why she prefers the whip, though she's mostly discarded it at this point, now that she has her fire more under control.]

Pretty sure the bullets'll stay behind too, if arrows do.

Yes, but are they re-usable?

You got a forge, don't you? Melt 'em down and make new ones.

[pyrkagia]

I've done the reverse of that before - melted old weapons down to make bronze bullets. I suppose it'd work just as well the other way.
