First Fear | Action

[ Four doesn't have much use for the ims, not yet anyway. Instead, he'd rather explore, get the lay of this place first hand. No one would realize it to look at him, but he is infinitely glad to be back in a somewhat familiar setting. It's not Camp Jupiter, but it's not constantly moving around. It's not endangering anyone. It's safe. That's something that Four hasn't felt in more than a year. Sure, it's far more relaxed than what he's accustomed to (and he's not entirely sure how he feels about that) but it's a camp environment and he's been told that there are campers here that he knows. It's not home, but it's close enough for the moment.

Come bother the new camper, don't let the fact that he's stalking around with a scowl on his face dissuade you. He doesn't bite. Mostly. ]

Yes, dragons. [She repeats, trying to not lose her cool. She knows the dangers inherent, but she's trying desperately to work with the dragons and not ahve them do this.] They're mine.

[She pauses a moment to compose herself before continuing on.]

When did you come here?
pyrkagia: (that's in the club rocking the latest)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-04-21 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
I see. And...what pantheon are you from?

[She's not quite sure - the Greeks like her wear their camp beaded necklaces, but she hasn't checked his arm for the mandatory Roman tattooing. Right now she's more concerned about weeding out potential threats. The camp's been attacked by newcomers too much lately for her to not be suspicious.]

I never did understand why some would want to keep a fish as a pet. You can't interact with them much.
pyrkagia: (i remind you i'm so hood with this)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-04-23 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I'm Greek. I'm a daughter of Hephaestus.

[There's a straightening of her back to match his own - she's quite proud of her heritage herself, especially since it partially brought her these dragons.

Even if she did get in trouble for it later.]

Perhaps you'd want to try it. Companionship is valuable.
pyrkagia: (boy i'm just playing)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-04-25 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[It's good, at least, that this Roman doesn't seem to hold true to much of the biases his brethren supposedly had at their own camp.]

I'd be inclined to agree with you there. My dragons are neither.

[Though, she doesn't think of them as pets, or even companions.]

They're not weapons. They're my children.

[And out it comes. Though it could be argued that sometimes, especially considering how much she's been training them, she might treat them as a weapon.]

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-04-28 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'm not. As far as I'm aware, there is no goddess of dragons.

[Though she's heard that Demeter's chariot is pulled by two beautiful ones.]

I hatched them, and they see me as their mother. I've grown accustomed to the role - they are mine.
pyrkagia: (i'm so good with this)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-04-29 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
I've been thinking that's what they've done. Either way, I like my role.

[It took some time to get used to - not long, of course, because she took to them quickly - her family's symbol was a dragon long ago, her brother said, after all - identified with them, almost.]
pyrkagia: (boy i'm just playing)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-05-06 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
They are, yes.

[She nods a little, stepping closer as Viserion cranes his neck out, motioning for him to move forward, to check Four out.]

They grow much more quickly than I anticipated. There's not much lore here on these sorts of dragons - much of what I have to go by is from Peleus, our guard dragon at the mouth of camp.
pyrkagia: (i remind you i'm so hood with this)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-05-07 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
[She nods a little, quite proudly.]

I'm hoping they grow to be as well-trained as Peleus is.

[Shoulders still straight and tall, but her eyes relax a little. You're okay, Four.]

What is your name, then?
pyrkagia: (Default)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-05-10 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Four. [She repeats it, then gives a look to all three dragons who have by now assembled near her feet, extending her own hand.]

Daenerys Targaryen, daughter of Hephaestus. These are my children, Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal.

[She motions to each dragon in turn with her free hand - black, cream and gold, green.]
pyrkagia: (who run the world? girls.)

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-05-13 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
To be perfectly honest with yoou? I'm not quite sure.

[She crouches down to get closer on their level, expecting him to do much of the same.]

They've only learned to do certain things I ask of them when I ask them to do it in Greek.

[personal profile] pyrkagia 2014-05-20 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
[His body language is good and doesn't intimidate them, doesn't pose a threat - but his words don't mean much. They only really understood the commands she gave in Greek because she trained them like one would train a dog.]

I'm not sure it worked.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure what you said. We're not taught Latin here.
