ACTION/IM?
[Whatever else that's been going on, Lydia Martin's headache went from a mild nagging ache to her being almost blind with pain and deaf to anything but to what she's described as a thousand people trying to whisper in her ear all at the same time, resulting in her ending up in the care of Apollo's offspring.
Somehow, on the morning of the 21st, Lydia manages to evade the healers and stumble outside to the strawberry fields. No one, not even Lydia quite knows how what happens next occurs, but at some point during the mid-morning an ear splitting SCREAM can be heard all across the camp. Campers, nymphs, satyrs, even the animals can hear her.
It is so much more than just one young woman's scream. It has an echoing quality, layers of sound that seem filled with the stuff of nightmares.
For those who investigate, they will find Lydia there in the strawberry fields, alert, aware, and inexplicably healed of the sensory overload that has been occurring over the last few days.]

[Well, at least it's not a monster]
What was that? That wasn't a regular scream.

[Lydia closes her eyes a moment.]
She's the Greek goddess of nightmares.

So...
[Nope]
What's that got to do with that scream? Are you alright?
no subject
[She waves a hand.] It's complicated. The scream is just this thing I do because of her Legacy. It's kind of an alarm and an attack and apparently it can also work as a kind of filter.
[Lydia looks a little defensive about trying to explain it. Maybe because she's only just starting to understand it herself.]

And I think we almost were, but not anymore.

What do you mean, not anymore? What's goin' on?
[He's starting to get frustrated and it shows. Come on, give him a straight answer!]

[The hell?!]
Are you sure this camp is safe?

[He's a little skeptical. Then again, can you blame him? This is all a bit much and he's been out in the world for a few years now]

Well, if they don't think you'd taste good, maybe nothin' else will. You sure they're on our side, though?

There's at least one werewolf who wears a red ribbon around one of his paws. His name is Derek and he's one of the Romans.
[Since Derek has already outed himself to the camp Lydia doesn't have an issue with mentioning him by name.]

But he nods]
I'll have to talk t'him myself, then.

Derek won't tell you who the other werewolves are. Just be careful about it, alright? The Romans don't take too kindly to having their honor questioned. And Derek is one of the werewolves who saved my life.
