ACTION/IM?
[Whatever else that's been going on, Lydia Martin's headache went from a mild nagging ache to her being almost blind with pain and deaf to anything but to what she's described as a thousand people trying to whisper in her ear all at the same time, resulting in her ending up in the care of Apollo's offspring.
Somehow, on the morning of the 21st, Lydia manages to evade the healers and stumble outside to the strawberry fields. No one, not even Lydia quite knows how what happens next occurs, but at some point during the mid-morning an ear splitting SCREAM can be heard all across the camp. Campers, nymphs, satyrs, even the animals can hear her.
It is so much more than just one young woman's scream. It has an echoing quality, layers of sound that seem filled with the stuff of nightmares.
For those who investigate, they will find Lydia there in the strawberry fields, alert, aware, and inexplicably healed of the sensory overload that has been occurring over the last few days.]

Even as he runs toward it, the sound leaves him feeling haunted and chilled to the bones. He's heard screams before, but none have ever been like that. A monster? No mortal could make that sound. If that is true, the boundaries must not be as strong as the centaur believes.
Reaching the edge of the woods, Gale stops, looking around the strawberry fields. Nothing looks overly suspicious, but... What is she doing out here after that? ] Lydia, did you hear that?
no subject
It was me. I'm sorry.
no subject
That was you?

You know I'm daughter of Aphrodite. [She winces.] But I'm also the granddaughter of Melinoe, the goddess of nightmares and she is the daughter of Hades. The scream...it ties into all of that. [She closes her eyes a moment, perhaps afraid to see if he's stepping away from her.] It's complicated. Something happened a few days ago that made me sick...it's complicated.

Bucky! I'm sorry. That was me. I didn't know I needed to do that. If I'd realized that I'd have screamed much sooner.
no subject
[Well, at least it's not a monster]
What was that? That wasn't a regular scream.

Not to be rude or anything, but was that you screaming a moment ago?
no subject
Yeah. Sorry, I - I was sick, and it made me better. I kind of didn't have a choice.
no subject
Miraculous scream, then, if it's cured you of your sickness. Nothing to apologize for necessarily, though some warning would be nice. It sounded very much like you were grievously injured.

On the morning of the 21st he had gone out to the Archery range, wanting to practice a little before he had to teach some of the younger campers. The scream caught him off guard, the arrow he'd fired going off course and lodging itself in the ground a few yards away from the target.
His head snapped around, trying to pinpoint where it came from as he slings his bow over his shoulder, grabbing his quiver.
It's not much longer before he reaches the strawberry field, looking around. Nothing seems out of place. Nothing except maybe Lydia. He hurries his pace, reaching her in a few quick strides.]
Are you alright? Did you see what made that noise?
no subject
I made that noise. I'm sorry. I hadn't realized I needed to until my body forced it on me, I guess.
no subject
[He's staring at her, eyebrows raising in disbelief. How in the world could she make that kind of sound?]

Which is why Daenerys starts running across camp to follow them - and hopefully to reel them all back to her. They lead her to the strawberry fields, and she's glistening a little, sweating from running.]
Lydia! Look out!
no subject
Dany! Can you call them off?

[The dragons move to circle above the strawberry fields, and it's at this moment that Dany wishes she could fly lke them, circle the air and swoop in like a true dragon would do, their mother, and reign them all in. Instead, she has to resort to shouting her commands in Greek, trying to pull them in. Rhaegal comes first, but there's the matter of the other two.]
Do you...do you have any snacks on you?
[She starts digging through the pack at her side, trying to see if there's that Ziploc of charred meat she keeps with her.]

Scott? It's okay...I was...wait, you knew it was me before you got here?

[He pauses for a moment, because crap, no, that was too hasty. Lydia's smarter than that, from what he knows about her, and...he's not great at spinning these elaborate tales without Stiles or Heather to help him make one. He's not stupid, he just works better as a team, always.
And...Lydia was there with him. She deserves that sort of honesty. He lowers his voice.]
I saw you, the other night. In the woods. I was there.
