[One very exhausted centaur starts the IM up this morning at around eight. The wolves are gone and Allison's hunters are all taken care of as well.

He's getting too old for this]

Thank you, campers, for your defense of the camp last night--and thank you Gale Hawthorne, for trapping one of the wolves and Hephaistion Amyntoros, for activating the shabti sent to us by Pharaoh Kane. Sadie Kane and Natalie Goodman also deserve our thanks as they captured one of the mortal invaders. Mr. D and I will question the captured werewolf and decide what to do with him later. I would also like to remind the camp that no matter what, all of you are safe here until you are proven to be a threat. Should I find anyone attacking another camper because of who or what they are, I will not be happy. As for Miss Argent, she has been allowed by the gods to stay in camp despite her behavior as she has no where else to go. This means she, too, is covered by that rule.

[This is mostly said for Scott and Derek's benefit.

He sighs]

Unfortunately, while we were otherwise distracted with the werewolves and Miss Argent's allies, the Red Room managed to infiltrate our borders. Demeter's counselor Jean Prouvaire informed me that he saw former legion member Zane Jolton coming out of the Athena cabin. One the harpies also saw someone driving off in Dean Winchester's Impala. We are doing a sweep of the camp to determine what they were after and I am ordering everyone to stay in the camp until we can get a retrieval quest together.

[End the feed. He may or may not respond to people as he's busy with the werewolf and the hunter. Later, the harpies will find these items missing]




There's a sign. The sign is actually posted on all of the cabin doors as well. As much as it felt inappropriate, it had to be done.

The following campers have broken the rules and have been punished appropriately.

Anna Arendelle. For disobeying her counselor's orders to stay inside and recklessly endangering herself, she has been assigned weeding duty in the strawberry fields for a week, no powers.

Lydia Martin and Gale Hawthorne. For leaving the camp unchaperoned, they have been assigned to the stables for a week and will have a daily check in with a counselor/Praetor for three.

Callie Jacob. For repeated and long term antagonistic behavior, a refusal to cooperate with those who approached her with concerns, and for abandoning her chaperone in the trip to New York over Christmas, she has been removed from her position in the Third Cohort and is back on proabtio. Miss Jacob has been made aware of the requirements to restore her position as have her Praetors.

Allison Argent. For betraying the trust of the gods and the camp and bringing in mortals who injured several campers, the Artemis cabin no longer welcomes Miss Argent as a camper. As she cannot leave the camp, Miss Argent has been moved.

It's signed "Chiron". No one will be told where Allison has moved to unless she tells them, and it's not likely anyone will know what Callie's requirements are either.

[[Callie's requirements to return to Legionnaire status are: two people must vouch for her behavior this time, and one must be a counselor/Centurion/other person in a position of power. One of those people also must be from another pantheon as her behavior affected all of the pantheons present here.]]

[Tybalt's got bandages on his arms, cuts on his face, and he might be limping a bit.

He does not care. He is patrolling the camp as best he can, keeping an eye out for Derek, who he hasn't seen since last night]

[ Given the fact that it was a group of wolves that attacked the camp, Derek has gone ahead and made himself scarce again to lick his wounds. He's a mess, but he's set himself near the amphitheater.

At least he's shifted back and gotten clothes again-- even if a tank and jeans aren't 100% fitting of winter, his heritage has probably spread through the camp like wildfire. No point in pretending the weather bothers him when he's laying there while his injuries heal. ]

[willyouwalk]

There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you.

[Tybalt flops down next to Derek, wincing as he pulls on one of the bandages]

Haven't eaten any of that ambrosia you godlings like?

[arracht]

[ He doesn't move as Tybalt comes closer, just accepts the company. ]

Some. Rather be out here and away from the rest of the camp, though.

[willyouwalk]

Fair enough. Still, you probably could have had more ambrosia before slinking off.

[That's his way of worrying. Derek got it worse than he did, after all]

I heard someone got bit?

[arracht]

I'll top off later.

[ It's sort of touching, really. The corners of his mouth quirk a little, just faintly, before disappearing again. ]

Scott did. So now there's another wolf in the fourth cohort.

[willyouwalk]

The overeager and rather dim boy Sadie's friends with?

[Tybalt lets out a low whistle]

At least he's not dead, though.

[arracht]

That one, yeah. [ At least it's affectionate.

Derek grimaces and shifts to sit up on his elbows. ]

He's not dead, and I blinded the shewolf that bit him in one eye. So.

[willyouwalk]

[Tybalt smirks a bit, proud that Derek got the bitch.]

Sounds like in the end, you came away the victor. Have you been to see him?

[arracht]

[ Raising a hand, he touches the tender skin of his face, feeling the claw marks that haven't faded yet. ]

Only a partial victor. I wanted her dead. [ He winces and drops his hand. ] Earlier, but not for long.

[willyouwalk]

Oh, she's a dead wolf. Maybe not right now, but I have every confidence that she'll be dead by Christmas, if not before.

[Since she's got at least Derek and Sadie out for her blood now]

How was he?

[arracht]

She has my scent, and I have hers. We'll find each other again.

[ Of that, Derek has no doubt. ]

Shaken and healing, but he'll be all right. The full moon isn't until Valentines, we have time to prepare him.

[willyouwalk]

You can shift without the moon, yes? Do you think Scott could? It'd be best if we can get him used to the idea of shifting before he has no choice.

[arracht]

We can give it a shot. I don't know how thrilled he will be with the idea, but it'll be something.

[willyouwalk]

He probably won't be thrilled at all but speaking from experience, that first time when you're forced into a shape that isn't yours is not comfortable at all.

[Long story about that one]

Besides, if he can do it without the moon, he may be better able to control it later.

[arracht]

[ Derek raises an eyebrow and regards him, but instead opts to save that for another time. ]

If he learns to shift before his first moon, or at least learns how to control the new instincts and impulses he's going to be dealing with, there's less of a chance of him losing control.

Means Chiron's promise that he'll be safe so long as he's not a threat still stands. [ Anyone goes near him, they're in deep shit. ]

[willyouwalk]

I don't think Scott'll ever be a threat, even if he loses control the first time or two. He didn't ask for this, after all. It isn't his fault. I'm more of a threat than he is, if you ask me.

[arracht]

I can't even argue that, after fighting with you. [ Derek drops back to lay again, hand resting over the worst of his wounds as he snorts. ]

Don't doubt for a second some of the other campers will think he's one, though. They'll find out pretty quick he's not the wolf they have to worry about if they even think about going near him.

[willyouwalk]

I think the only one who's going to be a problem is Dean because he thinks anything not human is a monster.

[Tybalt thinks it serves him right, having his car stolen]

No one's stupid enough to risk your anger, Derek.

[Or Sadie's, but mostly Derek's]

[arracht]

A monster is a monster because of what it does, not what it is. [ It's recited, like he's been told it numerous times. ] Did I ever tell you that I ran into him last full moon?

[ Derek tips his head to look over at him, tense from nerves but remaining calm otherwise. ]

I'm trying to decide what would be more satisfying in the event that someone did-- sending them straight to my father or clawing their eyes out.

[willyouwalk]

Clawing their eyes out and then sending them to your father.

[He shrugs]

You didn't. What did the idiot do?

[arracht]

I could probably swing both. Wouldn't need to fully shift to do it.

[ His hand raises, and he waves it in the air semi-dismissively. ]

What you'd expect, when an idiot has a gun with silver bullets on a full moon.

[willyouwalk]

Did he realize it was you and stop or did he waste his bullets trying to hit you?

[arracht]

Didn't have a clue. Which was for the best at the time, because we had enough to deal with waiting for Lycaon's wolves to barge in.

I didn't need him trying to hunt me down.

You still don't need him trying to hunt you down. We've got bigger problems than his prejudices.
