You know, it's kinda funny. This year I guess I stuck to some resolutions I don't remember making-- like, oh, finally getting out of my stepdad's house--

[ funny how getting kicked out makes that easy to do. ]

--and quitting smoking-- [ thanks a ton Eponine. ]

--and getting real close with my dad. [ no. really, Eponine. thanks. ]

Huh. Yeah. Wonder what this year's gonna have in store. Can't wait. [ With an eyeroll and a familiar, irritating itch for a smoke. ]

So. How many of you are going to make optimistic promises you're not gonna keep, eh? I know I'm tapped out of 'em, but that's just me.

It does depend on a few factors. Namely, what can I reasonably expect them not to ruin for me in the end.

...Which just got very depressing, damn.

Definitely has to be. Miight have to start experimenting with the plants around here. A shame I don't think any of the Demeter group would go for giving out tips but...

Mm you make a compelling argument.

That's it then. Soon as the snow melts, I am off to gather plants and run them by Demeter cabin to see what is what.

I rather like the way you think.

Thomas Barrow. Don't think we have at that.

A pleasure.
