It's kind of stupid, yeah? Mistletoe: Kiss. Midnight of the new year? OH, better have your loved one, or a complete stranger, to kiss!

It's ridiculous.

Whoever makes the most money off it, I'm pretty sure? Hard to say, it's been like that for a while.

That seems... wrong. If this is about people being happy with other people money shouldn't be involved.

Because according to society? You don't love someone unless you spend boat loads of money on them. Flowers, jewelry, candy... everything.

Which isn't how it works.

Most people know this, but retail has kind of made it into this super big deal. So it gets overlooked.
