[IM/Action] 01 Raindrop
[Aqua has seen better days, and she acknowledges this, but that's what happens when you're a demigod. Finally reaching the Greek camp is actually something of a relief to her for three very important things. One: it's safety, and she can use a rest. Two: the Third Cohort should be gathering here, and she's been worried sick about them. Three: Ven's here, and she's been mostly worried about him.
So, here she is, using a strange Greek method of communication. This has got to be the strangest thing. Talking through a rainbow. Jupiter's coattails this had better not be a prank.]
Greetings. I'm Aqua Elwyn, daughter of Neptune and Centurion of the Third Cohort. I was told that I would be in Cabin Three?
[Aqua hopes that she isn't the only child of Neptune who has reached camp. Otherwise, it's going to be pretty lonely in there.]
I would like to extend my apologies to my cohort and to both praetors for how long it took me to get here, but I wished to help with the...evacuation. And I had some personal affairs to sort out.
[Though by "personal affairs" she means lying to her parents, but what choice did she have?]
Third Cohort, I hope you've been well in my absence. I'd ask for a report, but.... [She smiles a little sheepishly.] This might not be the time for it. I'll be more than happy to know that all of you are okay.

The bigger threat is this place. The rules here are... flimsy, ignored, and generally support anarchy. The structure is non-existent, the Greek form of Bacchus is in charge. That should tell you enough.

If I remember correctly, the Greek fighting style is usually focused on the individual rather than the group. Perhaps that's reflected in their rules, too.
[She taps her chin in thought.]
I think that if the Greek rules aren't possible for us to follow, then we'll follow the rules of the Legion. They might be similar enough for it to not be an issue. But...
[She can't help giving Callie a confused look.]
Why is Bacchus here? Or whoever he is.

*Callie is glad Aqua appreciates the ways at home, sadly that view is a bit... idealistic.*
The Praetors have us following the proper ways as best we can, but it can't be helped when we're housed in their system we have to follow their rules. Sit by cabin, not with our cohorts, sleep in cabins with potential threats. Supplies by cabin making it hard to get everything one would need to do anything.
*Callie smiles a little at this. Because the story is just a little too... on the nose, for why the Graecus are a problem.*
Mr. D, who greatly dislikes the nickname 'the wine dude,' was caught with a Nymph Zeus had his eye on. So he was punished by being sent here to oversee the demigods of Greece.

It might be the price paid for being so close to Mount Olympus.
[She frowns at that.]
I'd offer you a place in Cabin Three, but that's Percy's call. If you want, I could bring it up with him?
[Okay, that's pretty amusing.]
Oh, dear. I think it might be punishment for everyone else, too.

*Callie shakes her head. It would be a nice offer if not for the small detail of things.*
I'm not sure staying in one of the Big Three cabins would be a good idea even if Percy agreed. The politics would be similar to if I stayed in the housing of a praetor, or the auger, back home. Only with direct involvement of the Gods.
Even if I wouldn't be technically breaking the rules, as I have no interest screwing or dating anyone in the cabin.
*Callie's smile is just a bit too rueful to be friendly. As Aqua is more right than she could possibly know.*
It is, the Greek forms... I do not think they plan things out with the repercussions of their actions.

You're right. I'm sorry I can't help with it, but if you ever need it, I'll do what I can.
[It doesn't sit well with her to let one of her soldiers suffer in silence, but it seems like she doesn't have much say in the matter.]
Probably not, or Jupiter has a sick sense of humor in his Greek version.

*It is clearly visible how hard it was for Callie to manage those words. She... is not used to having help, still, after years in the legion.*
He does, it's why during his stay as Camp Director Mr. D isn't allowed to drink. *She smirks a little at saying that.*

Oh, gods, that's even worse! What on earth did this camp do to deserve that?
