[Well, hello there, Camp Halfblood, have a bored looking young man, crossing his arms, and staring out at you with an expression of boredom and arrogance at the same time. Surveying his kingdom, as it were. At least, until he huffs a little, and something of that drops into merely a sulk.]
It occurs to me, Gods favor and patronize whom they will, of course, but back in the real world, that I’ve left behind, there are places where we leave the children no one wanted so the rest of the population can get along with, and go about their daily lives without getting their wrists stepped on each morning, or god forbid, being forced into pretending that we’re all some sort of…happy family
[There would be airquotes around that, if Thomas wasn’t more polished, and as it is, they certainly can be FELT from the way he drawls it out like that. The disdain is more than palpable, even if it IS a tad bit overblown and ventures toward melodramatic.]
As I’ve so lately been informed, this may not be the real world anymore, but wouldn’t it be nice, just think of it, if there were somewhere we could stash the lot of you who Mummy or Daddy hadn't felt the need to bother with just yet until such time as you might become interesting?
And Gods forbid not getting walked all over, but can anybody get a decent cigarette round here at least?

So, remind me not to piss you off then. Ever.

[Okay good. Because yeah. Thomas can't see himself ending well that way.]
Much better to be your ally. You make this random new family thing seem...not so horrible.

Well, the closest I had was Gabe. Pretty sure he fell in love with me when I kicked him out of his bed.
no subject
Yeah? Well, here I am at last. Ready to make your dreams come true.
[And that's a smirk.]
Yeah? Usually kicking out seems to have the opposite effect.
no subject
He likes a girl that will man handle him to get her own bed.
no subject
[He's rolling his eyes right back.] Prince of your dreams, that's me.
That's maybe more than I needed to know about my fellow campers. Then again...
no subject
I don't think he'd say no to you, either.
no subject
That WOULD be a problem. Among the...
...How did you figure that out?

[Yeah, from the way Thomas is eyedarting rapidly? It's looking like it MIGHT be.] I...well just...don't...I've got no idea what I'm even trying to say.

And I have no official confirmation that he may or may not also enjoy the company of boys. But he's a good kisser.
no subject
Harmless is good. I can work with harmless. I take it he's not Aphrodite then, if I'm actually safe.
I...see... Kissing's nice enough, true.

[And that's a definite sigh of relief there. He's twitchy about this whole thing, really. ]
Well then. Workable. And it seems you would have decent judgement out of anybody in this place, so maybe introduce us. I could stand to know more people.
no subject
Damn straight I do. I'd be more than happy to.

[In a GREEK camp no less! Contextually, can you even IMAGINE such a thing? No, actually it's more that Thomas is not allowed to like other boys specifically. Because then he might actually act on it, and well, there are many reasons he knows that would not be good. ...Or he's just paranoid still. Paranoid might be the better answer here, actually. And he's internalized a lot of stuff he's not yet realized he's internalized. So...Fun. ]
Sounds like a plan then.
no subject
Honestly, she kinda figured.]
Perfect. Just a warning, I'm not the most popular girl here.
no subject
[Oh most certainly! Just. THINK of the shame, the scandal, the... Yeah. Thomas isn't exactly secretive as much as he'd like to think he is.]
And I don't seem to be shaping up to be the most popular boy. We'll be THOSE siblings.

[Oh you're talking his language, Eponine. See that grin? It's gotten a lot more ...evil...suddenly.]
Oh Yes. Power
no subject
It's about time.
no subject
Damn right it is. Our rise to greatness will be swift and gloriously terrible.

As I like yours.
