[ Is that the Iris Message or is Heather sparkling? Nah, it's just her eyeshadow. ]

Okay, so I like, totally spaced but. Word of mouth tells me that the Third Cohort is the biggest of the Legion at camp so far? Hey, cool.

Just wanted to check up on you guys, I mean, mostly since we're ... unusually small in numbers, even now and it's taken some people longer than others to get here. Yeah. How are you all doing? You're also required to respond even if I talk to you every day - hint hint.

If you need me - or if anyone else, newbies or not, has any questions for whatever reason (not that I'm the leading Roman expert or anything) - I'll be trying my hand at arts and crafts and we may or may not get Third Cohort buttons.

[ She waggles her fingers playfully before swiping away the message. ]

[ She picks up a permanent marker and starts to make a separate badge for Scott. ]

You wanna come join me here? Only if you're not doing anything.

Hey, I'm on my way already.

[The rainbow fades away as Scott waves his arm in front of it, breaking the connection. It really doesn't take him long to get down to Arts and Crafts, either. He doesn't even have to take out his inhaler after this run.

He wanders up behind Heather, sitting down on the bench next to her.]

What color are you gonna make it?

[excusing]

Bronze. [ She holds up the material, tough and shiny - two things Heather likes very much. There are already circles traced for cutting but she still has to sketch out the Roman numerals and the fancy lettering. ]

I was never a crafty kid growing up. [ She'd always been the kind of girl who kept getting scrapes on her knees. ]

Well, no shortage of that stuff around here.

[Come to think of it, he'd took a tour around the armory once, just to see what was there, and he hadn't seen any Imperial Gold swords or anything there. It was kind of weird, seeing as how rare it was at Camp Jupiter.]

Hey, no worries. I'm still not. Can't even draw a stick figure.

[excusing]

So, look. [ She holds up some fancy looking markers, grinning as she waggles her eyebrows. ] I found these. Air brush markers. Maybe I can get them to look like graffiti. That'd be so cool. That'll be, like, for casual off-duty stuff.

[ Heather has her first more traditional design ready on a piece of paper and layers that over the metal sheet, over a cardboard piece. She gets to embossing. ]

Hey, I remember those - didn't they use to sell those on TV?

[He laughs a little bit, picking up one of the air brush markers.]

Mom never got me any of that stuff, but...I dunno. I think maybe now I could make up for that, yeah?

[He leans over her, watching her emboss.]

Do what you want, bro.

[ Heather slides over the prepared sheet she had been working on as well as a blunt wooden utensil. ] It was kinda hard to get it backwards, you know, with the dyslexia and stuff but I think it'll be good. Just, like, trace it!

I think it looks awesome nonetheless, y'know?

[He laughs a little, looking at the sheet. It's not too hard. It can't be. He traces around the insides of what she was working on first, not even airbrushing yet.]

Where's that, uh...the pump thing? Does that have a name?
