[Action - Anywhere something can be fixed.]
*So since two of the people closest to Sky have been broken, and she can't fix them, she's been a bit more... active around camp. She hasn't named all the emotions running through that celestial bronze head of her's, but she doesn't like most of them. And since she can't help Leo and Dany... she'll just help everywhere else instead! She just doesn't know how to handle problems that don't have solutions.*
*Sky's fixing anything in the camp broken, that she can. She's got a little bit of carpentry skill, but mostly if it's metal and damaged, she's mending it. She's taken all the weapons from the armory and started sharpening and treating them. She's replaced a few weapons that were beyond repair, melting them down and making new weapons in the forge. She's started replacing broken parts in all the vehicles on the grounds. So don't be surprised if she's in your cabin fixing your things.*

*Sky had spotted it when she brought her latest batch of swords back. They were in a bundle over her shoulder, polished, sharpened, and a few had their grips, guards, and other portions of the sword replaced if she could.*
I still can't make swords change shape properly. I can only make them look like similarly sized mundane items.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help. I inherited this, I suppose you can say. It belonged to a botanist from a few centuries ago. [ she smiles proudly. ]
You are more than welcome to examine it.

*Sky examines for a few more moments before she hands it back, then goes to work putting away all the weapons she's fixed up. Delicately placing all the weapons on their racks where they belong.*
What's a century?
no subject
A century is a period of one hundred years. [ She explains kindly, not really thinking much on the nature of the question. Or the girl asking it, really. ]
no subject
People keep track of that much time? A year is a long time. A hundred years is really really far away.
no subject
When you've been around for quite some time, I imagine years fly by quickly.

*Sky looks suddenly shocked by her own words. Her brain calculated the math without exactly asking Sky how many days are in a year. She just... knew. It was weird.*
A year is over 365 days long!?
no subject
How are you only fifty-nine days old?
no subject
*Well, that's the answer.*
no subject
You seem so very human! How wonderful!
no subject
It didn't sound rude, why would it sound rude?
no subject
Would you like to examine my weapon again? I have no need of it presently.
no subject
If you don't mind, I do not want to be a problem.
no subject
Here it is! May I ask why you've decided to fix and sharpen the weapons?

*Sky takes the sword and gingerly examines it. This is the natural form of the weapon, the other form is what the enchantment creates. Interesting... Sky gently touches her finger to the flat of the blade. Trying to get a taste of the magic in the metal.*
So I decided to just help out the camp itself. A lot of the weapons needed work. And other things around camp could use some repair.
...We haven't exchanged names and greetings, I'm Sky Smith. Hello!

It's very nice to meet you, Sky. And it is very nice of you to try to help everyone through this troubling time. [ She lowers her head. ]
I can only imagine how difficult it must be to see those who have passed on.
no subject
*Sky put down the sword and pulled out a small notebook and scribbled some math, numbers, and little pictographs of what she thought might be how the enchantment worked.*
I can't really imagine it, I've never lost anything in my life. So I can't really understand how meeting someone I lost would cause more grief than losing someone.

[ She folds her hands behind her back, considering this. Mostly, she wonders the best way to explain how the others must feel. ]
What if you could never see someone like -- Leo ever again? How would that make you feel?
no subject
And... I would miss his jokes. They're funny.

If my parents were taken away from me, why - I don't know what I would do.
no subject
*Sky is still trying to really understand how time enters into these bonds. She's known Leo and Danaerys nearly her entire life, did she need to know them longer?*
But, one of your parents is a God. They are very hard to take away.
no subject
[ She rubs her chin. ] I meant the mother who raised me, Mrs. Neumeyer. Those parents are mortal and I - well, honestly, I would be quite sad if they left me.
no subject
*Sky doesn't really understand families outside of the odd dynamic she has with Leo and Dany.*
no subject
[ That's a ... decent summary of her conception. ] Demeter, my birthmother, she, ah, is not always so generous, but she is a concerned parent.
no subject
*It did seem reasonable enough for Gods to help mortals they were endeared to, especially since that's how the stories seemed to go.*
