Petal 01 - IM - open to action or whatever

[The IM today shows the recently arrived counselor of the Demeter cabin, rubbing the back of his neck a little awkwardly. When he speaks, he has a light French accent]

Sorry I haven’t been to camp in a while. [More like "since the whole Titan fiasco started"] Mama--ah, my stepmother, not..you know--didn’t want me over in the States with all the chaos going on and then there was a problem with my passport. For those of you who are new, I’m Jean Prouvaire of the Demeter cabin, though I really prefer it if people use 'Jehan'. I'm the counselor for my cabin as well.

[He smiles]

Um, if anyone needs any help, anything at all, I’d be happy to help. You don’t have to be in my cabin or anything. I’m usually outside somewhere and if you can’t find me one of the nymphs should be able to.

[He waves and cuts the IM]

I believe it takes a long time, but I do enjoy the flavor. It would be a worthy cause to wait for, Jehan.

[She reaches out to to touch the petals of the flowers - it's amazing how something so beautiful can cause extreme pain.]

I believe he's made a few automatons. Birds, and the like.

[Then, almost conspiratorially:]

And a few days ago, we found a rogue bronze dragon tromping around in the woods. I hope we seek it out.

He is an automaton, we believe. There was not much to go by...it was very difficult to get any more information.

[Especially considering the fact that they were both lizards at the time.]

You're probably right. He's so detailed, I highly doubt he's anything other than an old project.

[She thinks for a second, unsure, and nods.]

If there's any sense in Leo, that's the end goal, yes. A wild dragon without any sense of direction or authority can be dangerous for all here.

[Says the girl who's hiding three in her cabin.]

Actually, the Romans do. The...the praetor of Rome, Reyna, she has these two most amazing dogs, one of silver and one of gold, unlike anything I've ever seen. As for the Egyptians, your guess is as good as mine.

[She laughs a little, imagining an automaton 'walking like an Egyptian' as it attacks. She hopes Millie wouldn't take offense to something like this.]

I suspect we'll have to construct something new to hold them safely in, then.

I have no doubt we won't. I don't believe Mr. D would be able to keep the camp afloat if we didn't have them, after all.

[She laughs along with him, trying to imagine Mr. D's freakout. It's actually a pretty scary thought.]

I trust Chiron to sort it out and find a good place for a menagerie.
