[ A very sullen and grumpy looking boy with a bandaged and freshly-swollen face is coming back into camp. Didn't notice Grantaire was gone? That's okay, it was only for a little over a day. For anyone failing to notice his bruised eyes or bandaged nose, he's also carrying a folded piece of red, white, and blue fabric.

Grantaire finally, after a few weeks, went to see a damn doctor. (No, he's not letting an Apollo kid look at it, thank you-- it's thanks to one of those stupid sun kids he got his nose busted in the first place.) It's obviously not been a pleasant trip outside the barriers, given that his nose had to be re-broken and aligned after it didn't heal properly from last month. He just wants to go back to his cabin and sulk properly. ]

[ He makes a slight whimper when he scowls, realizing that contorts the broken bone, gingerly touching his poor nose before he dismisses the rainbow. ]

What do you mean...? Oh Grantaire, come on now.

[She kisses his cheek, giving his hand a squeeze.]

I don't want to date Courfeyac. We dated, and it was nice, but it's been over for a month. I mean, there were good reasons we broke up...I was starting to like someone else.

[A pointed look.]

[ Good reasons makes him wince a little, but he doesn't fight her on it. It's way too early to screw this up.

He stares back, his face purposely looking blank before he looks confused. His neck cranes around, looking behind him before he leans in to ask quietly while still holding her hand, the other still holding E's new flag. ]

Is it Gabriel?

[She quickly matches him, leaning in conspiratorially.]

[She then takes the opportunity to quickly peck him on the nose, laughing a little as she does it.]

[ still whining just a little about his poor nose. ]

[She can't help giggling, but she's trying very hard to keep a straight face through this.]

[She huffs, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear with a free hand.]
