[ A very sullen and grumpy looking boy with a bandaged and freshly-swollen face is coming back into camp. Didn't notice Grantaire was gone? That's okay, it was only for a little over a day. For anyone failing to notice his bruised eyes or bandaged nose, he's also carrying a folded piece of red, white, and blue fabric.

Grantaire finally, after a few weeks, went to see a damn doctor. (No, he's not letting an Apollo kid look at it, thank you-- it's thanks to one of those stupid sun kids he got his nose busted in the first place.) It's obviously not been a pleasant trip outside the barriers, given that his nose had to be re-broken and aligned after it didn't heal properly from last month. He just wants to go back to his cabin and sulk properly. ]

[ He makes a slight whimper when he scowls, realizing that contorts the broken bone, gingerly touching his poor nose before he dismisses the rainbow. ]

Yeah, well, hindsight's 20/20; and getting a bone broken by a son of Apollo made me feel a little wary of something that's supposed to heal. [ Read: He's a stubborn idiot and has no excuse. ]

You do know that nectar and ambrosia isn't made by Apollo kids, it's- wait, R. Who broke your nose?

[ Grimacing. ] I think it was probably ripping the flag more than stealing it that set him off.

[He doesn't know about France, but he'd wager based on Enjolras' reaction that it was there, too.]

It's what? Really? Even if it was an accident? [ Skeptical look. And the answer is no, it's not illegal in France, for the most part. Enjolras just loves his flag more than Grantaire. ]

It's super illegal, R. There's a whole assload of protocol here about how we treat our flags - it's very serious.
