[ Four is out by the water today. He's got a goal in mind and that's clear from the determined look on his face (if the stern look on his face can be differentiated from his normal expression).]

Swimming isn't one of my strong points. [ He's actually making himself fairly vulnerable admitting that he's got a weak point. ] I'm gonna work on that if anyone wants to join me. [ Just before the IM closes out, he can be seen shedding his tee shirt and one might get a glimpse of his back

[Lyds got your back, Annie. Or more specifically, your arms.]

Annie's a daughter of Neptune, but you probably knew that. And that's right. I'm better at making people hot, not so much the water.

[She looks to Annie.] He's kinda grumpy. [Like he's not standing right there. She looks back to Four.] You like the Camp so far?

[ Four nodded a little about the information Lydia gives him on Annie. Yeah, he'd known that, but now he knows that Lydia knows. There's a half smirk at the comment about making people hot and an entirely unamused look at the comment about him being grumpy. ]

This is me friendly and it's...a lot better than being on my own. { Far too frivolous, unregimented and laid back, but it wasn't alone and Four was grateful for that. ]

I'm Four. [ because introductions were things that friendly people did, right?]

He can hear you, [Annie points out blatantly.] And he's not grumpy. Just, ah, tense. He only just got here.

[She shuffles slightly.] Four's in my cohort.

[Lydia looks between the pair, ahhing softly. Of course Annie will defend this young man, he's a fellow Roman and member of her cohort. Lydia can respect that.]

Good. I'm glad you're finding more of your own. [This to Annie. Lydia is clearly protective of her, and then she turns to regard Four.]

I realize our camp is less regimented than what you're used to, but don't discount us because of it. The Greeks and Romans have been working well together. You might even be impressed.

[ Four's irritation turns to amusement, watching them both with his arms crossed, a vague smirk on his face. ]

I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself. [ He doesn't doubt Lydia. He just doesn't believe much until he sees it with his own eyes. ] I'm glad Annie has found friends here. [ Which is as much approval as Lydia is likely to get for a little while out of him. ]
