[Thankfully, amongst the cries of general anguish amongst the campers, the Athena cabin is unscathed. Well, mess wise. Annabeth runs a tight ship there. But behind her? It seems like a general lost and found.]

So I woke up this morning to a bunch of things in Cabin 6 that don't belong here. So if you guys want to come and see if you've got anything - Dany, I think there's some of your tools in here? - come on by.

We've got cleaning supplies too. Just stop on by.

[She hasn't really gotten the hang of how to send out an Iris Message, so when she sees Annabeth's message she just goes straight to the Athena Cabin. Fiddling with the hem of her shirt she hesitates, before knocking on the door and then peeks her head in.]

Um, 'scuse me?

[Annabeth's going through some of the misplaced items when the voice comes from behind her. She stands quickly, turning around.]

Can I help you?

D'you have anything to get rid of weeds? My cabins covered in them...

[She shifts from foot to foot in the doorway.]

My...tools?

[She crosses her arms in front of her chest, frowning a little.]

I am not accusing you of this personally, Annabeth, but do you know if any of your fellow campers might have taken them from us in the night? It's fine to do, but please have them ask first.

If you're wanting to name names, I'd suggest pointing fingers at Cabin 11. All my campers were accounted for at light's out last night, and no one left.

I wish I could say that I am surprised. The Hermes cabin are notoriously crafty...despite who your parentage may be. I believe it has something to do with the close quarters.

[She straightens herself out, giving Annabeth a little smile once the counselor's assured her that it was not any of her siblings.]

I'll be over to collect our missing tools in just a moment.

[And she waves away the Iris Message. Fortunately, it's not too far of a walk around the U from Hephaestus' cabin to Athena's, and she knocks on the door to Cabin Six once she gets there.]

Annabeth?

[Annabeth's quick to answer the door to Cabin Six, and she steps aside to let Dany in.]

Sorry about everything. I've got your tools set aside over here.

[Daenerys gives her a quick nod, glancing over to where the tools are. She's not quite ready to collect them just yet, though. She knows Annabeth is a smart girl, and she's not trying to sound accusatory. She just means to get some information.]

Annabeth...do you believe that this may have something to do with the festival? Have you heard from your mother at all on this day?

I haven't heard from my mom at all, neither has the rest of the cabin, which is weird. We at least get something.

If it's something to do with the festival, and things are turning up missing? She's angry. Someone upset her enough to incur her wrath and it isn't pretty.

Perhaps you should try calling upon her tonight, then. At the campfire, I think, would be a good time to do it. It would certainly explain to the rest of us why we've offended her.

[Daenerys looks up into the air, thinking.]

I can only think of one person, but I believe he's on a quest right now.

[A pause.] I'm sorry, by the way. I hate that everyone's stuff ended up here.

I agree wholeheartedly. I...did not get much in the way of sleep last night.

[She picks up the tools and looks around at the Athena cabin's beds. They're not broken, like the ones back at Hephaestus. Actually, the place really does look untouched.

She doesn't mean to hold Athena in contempt for it, but the goddess isn't the only one who has a temper.]

There is no need to apologize, Annabeth. It wasn't your doing.

But I'm assuming it's my mom's. It was her festival the other night, after all.

I understand that...

[She's tight-lipped for a second. Annabeth is her senior and a counselor, and she doesn't want to disrespect her.]

I am young and inexperienced in these sort of matters, but I merely think you shouldn't foster blame on yourself for the actions of another.

H-hi.

[ The poor Hebe child looks worse for wear, grey and hunched over. ] Do you need help with anything? I - think I screwed something up royally. Maybe if I could help you guys, I could make up for whatever I'd done.

[Annabeth tilts her head slightly.] Mind telling me why you think you screwed up?

Your mom's got that owl for a pet, right?

[Okay yeah he knows the Athena symbol is an owl and Annabeth's got owl earrings and everything but he's never actually seen the bird with Athena.]

...Seaweed brain, what did you do?

I don't know! [And then his voice drops to an overdramatic not-really-whisper.] It's following me everywhere.

[She rolls her eyes.] Did you give her an offering during the festival?

Not that I know, I just offend her all the time anyway! [Seriously Annabeth, remember how your mom takes exception to him?]

[She audibly sighs.] You better make it up to her.

How? I never know what she wants to make me do that doesn't involve me not existing or us breaking up.

[Athena's not exactly the MIL from hell, but she doesn't make it easy.]

She doesn't hate you. She just... She's still just got this thing against your dad. You know.

[She sighs again.] Just... apologize. Make an additional offering to her at dinner tonight or something.

[Dave just goes straight to the cabin. He is not amused, this is not funny, and he'll jam something sharp and pointy right up a certain someone's godly behind if he ever catches sight of her.

Except not really, but he's annoyed enough to think about it. No one messes with Dave Strider's shades. It's just not something you do. When he gets there he's shading his eyes against the (admittedly weak) sunlight with one hand, knocking on the door with the other.]

Uh, hey. If you found a pair of aviators in there, they're mine and I'd like 'em back.

[... Yeah, you tell her, Dave.]

Sunglasses?

[The campers have been sorting through most of the things that have shown up, so there's definite piles of things. Accessories were in one pile to the back. There was an Aphrodite camper sorting through them, because Annabeth didn't know too much about fashion.]

I think there might be a pair back there. You can follow me back, if you want.

Uh, yeah.

[When he ducks inside he's blinking rapidly, his red eyes already complaining about the brief amount of sunlight they'd been subjected to. He rubs at one of them with the heel of his hand, following after her.]

What the hell happened in here? It's like a yard sale.
