Ah, I know that the theft is on everyone's mind but until Chiron and Mr. D can find the thieves, I'm not sure worrying about it will do anyone any good. So, Peeta and I--mostly Peeta--thought that maybe the Demeter cabin should run a sort of Valentine's café in the Big House next Friday, as a sort of distraction and a place for people to take their sweethearts since...camp doesn't really have a lot of places like that.

[Dany's still frustrated about the other day, with her own little rescue mission getting interrupted and all. She knows it's for the best - Enjolras is right, she didn't think it through well enough, she barely even knew where she would go once she properly left camp.

She sighs a little, offering Jehan a tiny, tired smile. She knows who he saw, how it must've affected him, but she's barely gotten to talk to him. Her only thoughts since the werewolves were here have been dragons, dragons, dragons.]

[Okay, Nico, you can do this. Acting like nothing's wrong is a specialty of his almost perfected to the point of it being a form of art, curse it! He's so frustrated with himself it's not even funny.

Once he's reasonably sure he isn't about to run screaming in the other direction at the idea he has, Nico shadow travels to where Jehan is. It's a short distance, so it doesn't wind him too much. It's still a drain, though.]

I'm...not one for Valentine's Day, but...uh, if none of you mind, I'd like to at least stop by the kitchen or wherever you're cooking at?

I think that is a good idea, Jehan. It'd be nice to have somewhere to go and something to do. A distraction would be very welcomed I imagine.

[Enjolras isn't sure why, but that really might be the oddest thing he's ever heard. Not that he's ever been big on the holiday.]

I would... Argue that there could be better distractions but I have a feeling you could counter any point I had.

[Hephaistion is still very sensitive to the whole "thieves" thing. He flinches when Jehan mentions it. Still, he forces a small smile. Considering who the thief was, he can't imagine what Jehan's had to go through. And if Jehan is putting on a smile and talking about distractions, he'll follow the other boy's lead right now.]

A Valentine's Cafe seems like a sweet idea. I wish your cabin the best of luck with it. There are quite a few, I'm sure, who will really appreciate it.

[Once he hears that announcement, Peeta's going to seek out his brother. He's definitely doing this at least in part because Jehan needs a distraction fairly desperately right now, not to mention the rest of the camp. And pretty much the best way he knows how to distract anyone is with food.]

Ready to get started? We can make a lot of the desserts ahead of time so we're not running ourselves ragged on the day itself.
