004-- action
[Guess who's back, back again? Epiny's back, tell a friend.
Or don't, but come December 30th, you can spot Eponine making her way back to Cabin 11, wrapped in a new sweater, a gift from Enjolras. She's pale, her makeup completely gone, and walks as though, for the first time in her life, she's unsure of where she's stepping. She's wearing Dave's sunglasses again, of course, to hide the deep circles under her eyes, and, more startling than anything, is just now thin she looks.
Because for the past month or so, Eponine has, in case you missed it, living in the Big House, going through all sorts of withdrawal.
So you know how your liquor became milk, pot became easter grass, and cigarettes were replaced with candy cigarettes? That's her fault.
But you'll find her back, and even more withdrawn than usual. If you were one of the lovely people to come visit her, well... Thank you.]

[They're at the steps to their cabin now, and Eponine shoulders open the door, depositing her bag of things she'd amassed on her bed. Gods, she'd missed it.]
Good. No one took it. [She'd claimed that bed four years ago by kicking Gabriel Novak out of it. She was pretty sure that was when he'd fallen in love with her.]

[ of course, she could be returning, but audrey gets the impression that she's been here all along. something in the way she talks.
she perches on the end of her own bed, one shoved into the corner ]

[In her nightstand, Eponine sees the small square package, and instantly reaches for it, desperate just to smell the inside of a cigarette carton. Maybe the curse didn't hit this one. Maybe. Just maybe.
But the second the carton is open, she knows it has. The things are fucking sticks of candy. With a low growl, she tosses it to the floor.]

[ an arch of her eyebrow and audrey tilts her head down, peeking out at eponine under her eyelashes. ]

Mr. D cursed us all the same way he's cursed. [she picks up the cigarette carton and tosses it to Audrey.] got hit harder than the others.

So, what, he took your cigarettes?

Here. [She reaches under her cushions and pulls out a small, clear, vodka bottle. Inside, however, is a white separated substance.] Milk.

[ but still, she scrunches her nose unappealingly. ]
So I guess a curse means you don't get to have fun.

[and back to the party metaphor.]
It's one hell of a party.

not bothering to smirk, she tosses the empty box back to eponine, eying the bottle. ]
You know, you should pour that out.
