Connections you say? I wouldn't mind expanding my own. Most of mine turned up dry while I was on my way here.

Wherever the road takes us. By which I mean wherever the Red Room is hiding out.

You got something against getting all we can on those assholes?

Charging after the Red Room isn't exactly a brilliant way to get even. If we're dead what good is that gonna do?

You demigods aren't. I'm not going to draw monsters like you guys do, so I can come and go when I want. The rest of you are safer here in camp, but I thought it'd be nice to extend the invitation anyway.

But if you said we're monster magnets why are you inviting us?

[ Shrug. ] It'd be rude for me to take off when there's so many people around here just waiting for a chance to get at them.

None of the above. I'm just a regular ol' mortal, kid - nothing special about me.

[Naomi gives a little 'ooooh' at the explanation. Well that was nice!

She's even about to tell him so when his next words catch her off-guard.]

But I thought only demigods 'nd magicians could come to camp!

[This opened up a whole new realm of possibilities!]

Would love to, but with the quest going on I'm the best way to connect reinforcements or rescue to them.

I would love to go find some actual answers.

[ Nodding. ] Right, that's cool. Where would you go, if you could?

If I could get to the cells the summer campers were held in, I might be able to read the doors to try and find something... like it.

It probably won't connect me to another Red Room location, but it might give me some idea where we should turn our attentions.

...Yeah, don't think that's something I can take care of on my own, lowly mortal an' all. Any other ideas?

...Maybe there's a paperwork or money trail on the land they used in Florida?

Longshot, since just using mist to screw with the locals is easy, but less mortals come around if you actually have deeds and stuff.

If they had it and they've got any sense at all, they'd have burned it already. I'll see what I can find. [ Still got the trusty FBI badge in the Impala; if there's something there to find, he'll find it. ]

Oh, I expect the Red Room to trash any evidence. But if they went through proper channels the city should have copies of things.

It isn't the best odds, but we're kinda low on choices here.
