[Action - Anywhere something can be fixed.]
*So since two of the people closest to Sky have been broken, and she can't fix them, she's been a bit more... active around camp. She hasn't named all the emotions running through that celestial bronze head of her's, but she doesn't like most of them. And since she can't help Leo and Dany... she'll just help everywhere else instead! She just doesn't know how to handle problems that don't have solutions.*
*Sky's fixing anything in the camp broken, that she can. She's got a little bit of carpentry skill, but mostly if it's metal and damaged, she's mending it. She's taken all the weapons from the armory and started sharpening and treating them. She's replaced a few weapons that were beyond repair, melting them down and making new weapons in the forge. She's started replacing broken parts in all the vehicles on the grounds. So don't be surprised if she's in your cabin fixing your things.*

No. No, you did alright.
[ He wagers a glance at her. ]
But it looks like you got your pretty shirt all messed up.

*She wiped her hands on the edge of her shirt and moved over to the passenger seat. Sitting down, her back was fine so she didn't have to worry about the seat getting dirty, she pulled the radio out and started adjusting the wiring and adding a small bit of celestial bronze into it.*

So you're one of those forge kids - that why you're fixing her up? [ He asks, nodding at the car. ] You like cars?

*She rewires the radio a bit and puts it back in place. Points at the ignition and the engine rumbles to life. Then Sky turns on the radio and it works! No longer whiny static from the barrier around camp. She turns it down so they can keep talking.*
While I was asleep Dad caught me up on a lot of things in the world, but mostly he showed me lots of really cool vehicles. He really likes motorcycles and cars from the 1980s, but he showed me other things too.

[ He raises his eyebrows when Sky turns the car on. ]
Not bad, kid. Sounds like me and your dad would get along great. I can respect a guy who takes care of his cars.

*She's so hopeful, isn't it cute.*
He said that he was better with machines than people. So he's very good with all the things he makes or restores. He finds human creations very amusing, he likes some of the... aesthetics.

Oh, well if he likes curb appeal, look no further. Got the prettiest girl in camp, right here. [ He grins, gesturing at the Impala. ] I'm guessing you take after him, huh?
no subject
Well, there are a lot of things about humans I still don't understand. So... for the moment machines are certainly easier.
no subject
If you're not human, what are you? Nymphs aren't very fond of cars, last I checked. [ Especially not guzzlers like this one. ]

Nature spirits don't like cars? Why not?
no subject
[ He rolls his eyes at the nature spirits. ] Something about 'em being "bad for the environment". [ Scoff. ] As if this baby's could damage the environment. If anything, she makes everything around her look better. And I like to think I can make up for anything "bad" when I take out those monsters.
no subject
Oh. Well... it does produce some rather damaging emissions, but the damage can be reversed. At least, with the right technology... I could probably increase the fuel efficiency. *Notebook, notes, ideas for how to make things better.*
no subject
And how would you do that, exactly? [ He likes his car, and this is interesting; so sue him. ]
no subject
Well, I used ordinary metals for the new parts. Certain parts... if I replaced them with enchanted metals should allow for less... wear, and the engine should work more efficiently.
*She looked a bit uneasy as she thought about it.*
...There are other ideas, but I would need to test them out in the forges first. As I don't have any memories of it working.
no subject
[ Yep, he likes this kid. ]
You mean like celestial bronze? [ He considers that for a moment. ] It only takes a little to modify something like a gun. Can't be much harder than that to modify a car. [ What does he know? ] But I think I'd prefer my car not being a guinea pig.
no subject
*Her father is like that.*
With something like an engine or a gun, it's a matter of what you modify. Some of the smaller pieces have more impact if they're enchanted. I would need to do some tests, scale models. It'll be fun!
