Three Gusts | Action sort of.
[So, it's the day before the summer campers have to pack up and go home. John's surprised that he's liked camp as much as he had, God shenanigans aside. So, knowing most of his friends are actually staying, John's leaving a few notes around camp to show his appreciation.]
[Yeah, he's a little butt, but he's a sincere butt.]
jason and ven,
hey you crazy roman hardasses! geez, thanks for spending all summer kicking my lame butt all over the place. i'm probably going to be sore all the way into next year!
yeah, yeah, that's what i'd like to say but that wouldn't be true or something you haven't already heard before! what i actually want to say is meeting you guys was pretty awesome and i am really glad it happened. it was kind of weird to suddenly have brothers out of no where! but it was also pretty sweet, too so i am glad i came to camp just for that.
keep the party roof alive for me, ok?

p.s. 21605 fir dr, maple valley, washington <--- this is my address. dad wants you guys to visit on thanksgiving so you should both definitely come. he's an awesome cook when he isn't stinking the whole house up with cake batter, promise!
dave,
idk, dude. you get one of these notes from me every birthday just about. can you stand much more of me calling you a dumb smelly butt??
heh, i will cut to the chase this time. i'm glad we got to hang out this summer despite how much of a hard time i probably gave you. this demigod business is kind of scary, i'm not even gonna lie, dude. i'm glad at least i get to kick it with my best bro. we'll have a ton of fun next summer and you should definitely iris message the hell out of me during the year.
if i don't hear from you there WILL be consequences, dave!! DIRE consequences!!!
but anyway, see you around dude.
- john
naomi,
hey, you have got to promise me no more trees while i'm gone, ok??
i had a lot of fun this summer and i really hope i will get to see you next year! you can also iris message me whenever. maybe i can show you how to set up a chat client?? anyway, good luck and see you around. thanks for the gift!
- john
[Feel free to grab him sometime before he leaves and make him answer too this sappy things. He will most likely be sitting on the roof of Cabin One, spacing out at the sky. Also, if you are not one of the four above but would still like to get a note from John, feel free to assume! I just ran out of brain power and would have otherwise been writing notes all night.]

[Here John, you like chips? Have some chips. Ven'll toss him one of the bags, though he doesn't open his own yet.]
no subject
[Oh, chips. He will catch that bag and dig in.]

[Ven's actually done his mythological homework, and Chiron explained to him why the Greeks basically didn't have any kids of the Big Three around. He didn't get the entire story, but enough of it to make sense. His own bag of chips is set on the roof next to him as he dangles his legs out over the edge, absolutely not worried at all about falling off.]
I miss Camp Jupiter, though - this place is all right, but that place was... [Home.] ...bigger.
no subject
I guess so.
[John kicks his feet a bit and stares up at the sky.]
So I keep hearing. I kind of get the feeling I wouldn't have fit in very well at Camp Jupiter. It still kind of would have been nice to see it at least once.
no subject
Camp Jupiter was permanent. We could break it down and move it, but the legion had its own place, and there was the whole city of New Rome, with shops and schools and everything. It made it feel a lot less small. You could live your whole life there, and here... you kind of can't.
no subject
[He frowns a little though, as he thinks about the implications of New Rome.]
So, it's really gone, huh?
no subject
[But that's an honest question and Ven sighs, laying back to look up at the sky and the clouds overhead.]
Yeah - I saw it afterwards. Whatever happened there, however it happened, everything was demolished. Even the course of the river changed.
