[ Kate is staring intently into the rainbow, and that intensity is broadcast across Camp Half-Blood, to any who are viewing their Iris Messages at the time. ]

By now you should all be aware that the Hunters will be visiting for Mounukhia. I trust this means our cabin will be prepared by the time we arrive. A few of us shall arrive early, and Thalia and our lady will join before the festival. They are away on important business at the moment.

I hope everyone is ready for Capture the Flag.

[ As she says the last line, her blank stare suddenly fights a smile - and ultimately she is unable to hide her smirk. It's clear she believes the Hunters will win - and for good reason. They've won the last fifty-six times.

She pauses, waiting to see if anyone will respond to her Iris Message. ]

I hope you're ready to lose then. We've got a few new tricks up our sleeves. [It's not that Annabeth's being arrogant. Yes, the Hunters have won the past few times. But they've got new campers.]

[ Kate's smirk only deepens. ]

Then we look forward to having a challenge... for once.

Good to hear. I'd hate for you guys to get bored.

It is an unfortunate side-effect of traveling in such constant companionship with the goddess that we are often bored by that which challenges most demigods.

You can always join us and cure your boredom, Annabeth.

I can't tell you how many times I've been offered to join, but I have to tell you the same thing I said to Thalia: Thanks, but no thanks. I have this idea about living past my 18th birthday that I'm dying to act out.

To each their own. I look forward to having a worthwhile sparring partner during my time at camp, however. It will be good to see you again, Annabeth.

It'll be good to see you again too, Kate. It's been too long.

I was hoping you all would be visiting. It will be good to see you girls again.

[She gives Kate a strong smile in return - the Hunters were always interesting opponents.]

[ Kate returns an equally strong smile. Though Dany keeps refusing the invitation to join the Hunt, the girl already has a Hunter's personality through and through. It is like seeing a dear cousin yet again. ]

You will be dancing for the festival, I assume?

[wokethedragon]

[She's still not sure why she hasn't, though she's worked out a few options, of course, one being that she might 'wake the dragon', as her brother Viserys so nicely calls it, if she leaves camp and goes off to submit to a god that isn't their father.]

Of course. I wouldn't dream of doing anything else. And yourself?

[ Natalie sits up from where she's resting just outside her cabin, watching the broadcast with a lifted eyebrow. And then she grins. ]

Oh, hey, cool. Been a while, it feels like.

Natalie. It is good to see you again. I trust you have been well?

Likewise, Kate. [ She likes the intensity of the Hunters, to be honest. She doesn't trust herself enough to even think about offering herself to the group, but she is content to admire them. ]

I'm as well as I can be, anyway. What about you?

Artemis has kept us busy since the unveiling of the new prophecy.

I am anxious to see how Camp Half-Blood has been preparing.

Well, you know, training and crafting and decorating. It's pretty busy. I'm, uh, trying to find my place in the whole thing.

Probably just end up practicing by myself. I guess that's never a bad thing.

Oh, we are very ready for capture the flag.

Hmph. I doubt any "preparations" you have attempted will not help you.

Preparations are not so much my thing as they are Anabeth's. I'm better at changes in plans.
