[ Someone's looking like a megababe, stomping across camp in a slinky, studded black dress and pumps. Each time she tries to tie her hair, it tumbles out perfectly in bouncy chestnut curls.

The look on her face basically says GTFO but it's well-intentioned. (You don't want her to open her mouth.) How many times is she going to be humiliated on behalf of Aphrodite? This is pure and utter baloney.

[Daenerys is firm in her beliefs as always, and the grip on her self-strung bow tightens a little, her knuckles whitening.]

We were standing up against an antiquated rule which doesn't serve a purpose in the trying times ahead. Hera took what we did and used it to serve her own whims.

Whoa, chill out. Seriously, you might blow a gasket and I'm concerned. [ Working the charmspeak here without realizing it. Weirdly enough, she's the concerned one here, trying to be soothing. ]

I'm not saying what we did was wrong, but you know how much they hate being told what to do, even if it was through a loophole. This punishment is just playing with pawns or some shit.

[It's both a little joke to lighten her mood on her usual parentage and a truth - but she's a little too frustrated right now to point it out.]

And now we're left to sort this out on our own. I've no idea how to regain our usual abilities.

[ He was the one who planned this in the first place, after all, though she doesn't want to rest the blame entirely on his shoulders. ]
