Do you have any idea just how dangerous chariot races are? There's collisions to think of, you could be dragged to death, trampled by horses... You know that phrase 'live fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse'? They traced that back to a bumper sticker on a chariot that some archaeologists dug up. It killed King Tut. My grandfather had a painting of it up in his shop, it's gruesome. I wish I'd brought it.
The talent show, on the other hand, has a lot less chance of road rash. It's only dangerous if you decide to juggle axes or beehives. And we're aiming for right around Valentine's Day, so it's the perfect chance to compose a love song for that girl you like! Or guy. ...Or centaur, if that's where your heart lies.
Just think, it could be your name on the second or third place ribbon - erm. We do have ribbons, don't we Annabeth?

So, now that everyone's interested, I'll be visiting cabins bright and early with the sign up sheet. Or you could just tell me now. I don't sleep much anyway, so either way works for me.
