[Oh look, it's Tai again, sending out a camp wide iris message as he sits in the grass outside the Big House. There's a grin on the satyr's face - because he's been trying to convince Chiron to let him do this for weeks.]

In light of everything that's been going on, y'know the you all being stuck here...

[Mr. State-The-Obvious strikes again.]

I'm here with another offer! If any of you guys want to send letters or packages or anything to your families come find me by the Big House. I'll take them to your families and if they have anything to send to you in return I'll bring them back!

Consider me your Resident Satyr Mailman!

[OOC: Hey guys, this is a new thing us mods are trying out. Pretty much once a month Tai here'll be make a post delivering letters and packages from family/getting letters and packages from campers to deliver! So if you want to take part in that kind of thing feel free to post here!]

[ Rainbows seem kind of impractical, if you ask Gale. Quicker than the messengers they'd used in New Rome, at least, but there's so much that could go wrong with these IMs. If you're hunting when you get one, you could kiss your prey goodbye. What if you're in a life or death situation that relies on stealth? Good luck getting out of that one. What if you just so happen to be taking a bath - or if you're in any other sort of compromising situation - when someone decides it's time to sit down for a nice chat? And on top of all that, you have to hope there's a rainbow nearby, or you can't even send your message.

All in all, he prefers the messengers. There's less risk involved, as far as he's concerned. So when this IM goes out, he's looking rather unimpressed with it. ]

So. Camp Half-Blood, huh. Nice place, I guess.

[ Not as nice as New Rome, even if he didn't get to see the nicer parts of it very often. It's still better than what he and his family had, being on the poorer side of the Fifth Cohort. ]

But you can't stay here forever, right? Where do you go when you leave? How do you expect to keep your families safe outside of these borders?

[ As he mentions families, his expression darkens. Gale still hasn't found his own family. But he keeps silent on that end, bottling the anger and frustration up and letting it simmer for a while longer. He'll find them, no matter what. And when he does...

After a moment of silence, he shakes his head almost imperceptibly and continues. ]

I know I can't be the only one from the Fifth left. Has anyone else made it here?

A.] [Looks like there's a new kid in camp. A small, skinny kid no older than eleven is out wandering the grounds. His hoodie, which is two sizes too big for him, is zipped with his hands in the pockets. He looks a little lost, but above that, he looks uncomfortable and unsure. He also looks like he hasn't slept in weeks, sporting dark circles under his blue eyes.]

[He's not sure what to make of this place yet. He came here hoping to find somewhere where he wouldn't be punished or ostracized for being weird, but at the same time he just wasn't expecting to have to socialize and deal with other people. He's not good with people. Well, living ones anyway.]

[Maybe he could find a few nice ghosts to talk to.]

[Approach? Pay no mind to him talking to the air.]

B.] [Okay, socializing done. Norman was sitting in the Hermes cabin. Since no one was quite sure who he belonged to, he was assigned this place. It's too bad, he guessed. He had some ideas but apparently they really abhorred the idea of guessing or assuming. Something about offending the Gods.]

[It didn't bother Norman all too much. His Dad didn't seem to care, so why should he be worried by his mom not caring either?]

[For now he was just reading a comic book on his bunk trying to drown out any noise from the outside.]
