Okay, so the thing about summer camp and what makes them really awesome is the fact that you get to do a whole bunch of stuff that you don't get to do at home. Then when you go home you have like ...nine whole months! Of not doing these super cool summer camp things!

So when you go back to summer camp everything is all new and shiny again, and everything is fun. Like- oh man lanyards! Let's make some freakin' lanyards! Or lets jump in a lake and get algea in our shorts! So cool!

You know what really kills that? Being stuck in summer camp for more than three months. Now home is camp, and camp is home, and the world is spiraling into chaos! Up is down! Right is wrong! Homework is fun! Betty Crocker is an unassuming innocent corporation not bent on world domination!

See? It's all falling apart!

[There's a pause while John thinks over his nonsensical rant. He sighs.]

I'm getting bored. It's boring and there's a whole bunch of assholes out there that messed with our camp and our family and we're just sitting here doing nothing.

[He groans and flops back so all you can see is what is some of the roof of Cabin 1.]

Halloween is coming up. Are we dressing up? Like, is that a thing we can do? If it's not I'm going to flip myself literally into the sun. Into the sun.
