[EVENT POST] June 29, 2013
[Well, it looks like the Lady Artemis has heard little Arin's prayer, and has decided to exact retribution on Ares' son - as well as everyone else who did nothing to stop him - in a big way.
Despite falling asleep in their beds last night, no cabin will be filled except the Artemis cabin, who have been pardoned. In fact, for a moment, campers will probably be confused as to where they've come to. They certainly didn't go to bed in the forest.
Once they look around, though, they'll notice some different things. Maybe they're much lower to the ground than usual or have extra limbs or appendages. Maybe they can smell better, or fly into the sky.
Regardless, it won't take them too long to realize that they've been turned into some sort of animal, bound to the forest by an invisible wall, and forest natives won't be able to understand their cries for help - only other campers-turned animals will. Your mission, campers? Survive the day, and try not to get eaten.

[ Why warn when you can surprise? Anna huffs, or tries to, snorting instead. She lowers her head bashfully before hopping towards where she thinks is camp. Talk about a brand new perspective. ] I'm sure you've smelt odd things here.

Attacking other campers is probably not the best of ideas.]

Under the assumption that the forest is full of demigods turned into animals, we ought to be careful. Hopefully we'll be able to communicate with the others this way.
[ Mentally or - verbally. Is it that animals can speak the same language or that they are all reading each other's minds? ]

Well, if the gods wanted to punish us for something, I guess they couldn't have picked a worst way to do it.
[Well, they could have, but... This is pretty bad.]

Do you recall anything particularly bad yesterday?
[ Perhaps Anna hadn't been perceptive enough. She feels immensely guilty for that. ] I should have been paying more attention.

Nothing unusual, but it's a big camp and a lot of people. We can't watch everyone.
