SITUATION POST: JUNE 27, 2013
[Today is the festival of Skira, which can be both a good thing or a bad thing, depending on who you are at Camp Half-Blood. It's a day about celebrating all female goddesses, so Chiron has taken it upon himself to make it a day of female empowerment. Classes are being taught all over camp celebrating the female heroes of old, and the statues of Hera, Demeter, Athena, and the like are decorated, polished, and clothed in beautiful fabrics suiting each of their temperaments.
Most of all, though, this day is great for the nymphs, since an unofficial rule of Skira for Camp Half Blood has always been 'what the girls say, goes'. So tonight, the boys are serving up the meals at dinner while the nymphs relax.]

[ He laughs, nodding with the suggestion. And a TV... They don't have one in here, but Leo's pretty sure each of the beds have a button for a personal one somewhere. ]
Sounds good to me.
[ Lopsided grin. ]
It'll be fun. "So, Dany, I heard you like fire-breathing dragons. Coincidentally, I found a few by your bed!"

Right, that is completely smooth. Better than my first thought: "Hey, Dany, what are your thoughts on fire hazards?" I mean, besides the fact that I am one sometimes.
[ Natalie squints into the distance. No one's at the dining pavilion yet, so they have some time to figure out the best way to, ah, address the bundles of joy. She isn't even thinking about what to say when people eventually do question them about why they were even inside in the first place. ]

[ C'mon, Valdez, why so nervous? It was a joke. Just keep pretending that last laugh wasn't forced. ]
Let's just hope Chiron doesn't find out somehow.

She nudges his side with her elbow. ]
Hey, it'll be okay. I mean, the hatchling thing. I hope.

Hey, maybe Chiron would let her keep 'em. Peleus does a good job, but we could always use more security, right?
[ Especially with how it's been lately. ]

[ Maybe she's being negative, but she's also being realistic. Plus: there is three of them, along with a combat elephant and a hellhound. The menagerie of Camp Half-Blood is expanding rapidly, so maybe they'll need to make more room. Perhaps not the size of New Rome but. Maybe she'd better leave that sort of planning to Annabeth. ]

You can't deny that it would be cool, though. An army of dragons, defending the camp from monsters.
[ He can still dream. ]

[ The dragons as the first line of defense, the demigods as backup. The trick is to make sure they're on their side. ]
On the bright side, we do have two large animals ready for battle at the moment..

[ But Natalie's right; they're not actually sure how the dragons will act once they're grown. He turns around in a circle as they walk, looking for Dany. ]
Let's just hope none of them are needed anytime soon.

[ It's a distracted mumble as she cranes her neck to try to see Thalia's Pine, where she fell. Daily, she tries to repair the hole, but doesn't feel satisfied with her own work. Back to the problem at hand. ]
We can find your half-sis after dinner. It'll be easier then, you know, instead of pulling her from her activities. The less noise, the better.
no subject
Yeah, we'll find her later. Food first!
[ If he seems overly excited about that prospect, just remember: Leo's a growing boy, and he hasn't eaten all day. ]
no subject
I'll see you later.
[ Natalie half-smiles, nudging his shoulder with hers in a manner not-at-all suspicious before she trudges her way to the Hecate table. ]
