[Iris Message/Action] June 19

[Enjolras had been up until the early hours of the morning reading over the Prophecy of the Gods, even though he's still not made any progress in figuring it out. He had only managed a few hours of sleep before breakfast - and that's when he noticed something odd.

Natalie was missing from the Hecate table, though that could just be because she was sleeping in. Maybe. It was nothing to worry too much about.

Except come lunch time she's still missing, and after quick scan of the dinning hall he can't help but notice a certain Son of Poseidon missing as well.

The unease he's been feeling has only grown as he walks through the camp trying to find si~~ster~~ friend. When searching proves fruitless he goes to the lake, using the light reflecting off it to create a rainbow.

No. He's not worried. Not at all.]

Has anyone seen Natalie today?

[It's probably nothing. She'll answer his Iris Message rolling her eyes at him for overreacting, but Enjolras can't shake the gnawing feeling in his stomach.]

Not since yesterday. Maybe she's lost in the mist.

It's not like her to get lost in the mist though.

[ Thinking, thinking... aha! He snaps his fingers. ]

Arts and crafts cabin. She was working on runes or something over there the other day.

I didn't think to check there. Thank you.

[It was worth a shot. Hopefully Natalie's there.

And now that he has a lead Enjolras can't help but look at Leo.]

I don't think we've met before... My name is Enjolras.

[ Friendly smile. ]

No prob. I'm Leo, new recruit as of... a few days ago. You were on the elephant quest, I take it?

[There might be a small scoff at the 'elephant quest'.]

Is that what people are calling it?

[Followed by.]

I still can't believe we brought back a elephant.

Well, I dunno about you, but I feel like that's an important thing to note.

[ And he really doesn't know what you guys were trying to do, anyway. ]

I take it that wasn't the goal.

No it wasn't, it was just an added... Surprise.

[A very big surprised on top of numerous other ones, but at least the elephant was a nice one.]

We were sent to retrieve the Standards from Camp Jupiter.

Not yet. She could be in her cabin?

I checked her cabin, and she wasn't at her table for either breakfast or dinner.

[He sighs.]

I know I'm probably worrying for no reason it's just... Odd.

Huh. Okay, that is weird.

[If she was going to go off, she'd tell somebody about it, right?]

Worrying is okay. If you were raising the alarm in camp over it, then I'd say you were overreacting.

I'll make sure I have hard evidence that something happened before sounding the alarm.

[It isn't like Natalie, which makes him even more worried.]

[She presses her lips together, a worried look crossing her face.] Anybody else missing?

[His frown deepens.]

Percy was missing at lunch... But I hadn't thought anything of it because... Well.

[It's Percy.]

[Her nose wrinkles a bit.] Nobody ever knows if Percy's coming or going. [It's said fondly, though. She likes that boy.]

But two kids missing isn't exactly normal.

[There's a pause, before he drags a hand through his hair.]

No. No it's not.

Maybe Dany is right about starting a search party.

[A frown. Isn't camp supposed to be safe for them?]

Where would we even start?

[It is, which is why this is all the more worrying.]

We find whoever is interested in searching and form different groups to search different areas of the camp. That way we cover as much ground as we can in the most amount of time.

Alright, count me in if you guys get one going. I don't like the idea of either of them trapped somewhere, with shit getting worse these days.

Unfortunately, I haven't...

[It was common for Natalie to miss meals at camp - so much so, that lately, Daenerys had been bringing back portions of meat for both her dragons and her friend. In fact, once she jokingly whispered to Rhaegal that she was off to feed their sister.

But she was conspicuously absent from all her usual activities at camp as well.]

We should create a search party.

[He shakes his head.]

No... No she probably just...

[Except Enjolras can't come up with anything. He's already checked the arts and craft cabin, the Hecate cabin again and even the archery range.]

I'm just, I'm overreacting. Still on edge from the quest...

[Because he really wants to believe that's what's going on, that Natalie is actually completely okay. But deep down he knows that it's not true. Something's going on.]

Will you help me look around the camp one more time?

[Dany does her best to comfort Enjolras. It's clear he had a difficult time on the quest, and despite the fact that she's never seen much action aside from the war and capture-the-flag, she does her best to sympathize with him, putting a hand on his back to steady him.]

Rest, Enjolras. You do seem quite weary.

[She straightens up, trying to reasssure him that she can handle the situation.]

I will lead it.

[He gives Dany a very irritated look, shying away from the touch.]

I'm perfectly alright.

[Even if he wasn't alright it didn't matter. There were more important things to worry about.]

Let's look around the camp one more time before doing anything drastic. A search party might not be needed.

[Though it's becoming very clear they might have to form one.]

No, you are not.

[She stiffens more, giving Enjolras a very pointed glare.]

Your emotions are as plain to read as a children's tale, Enjolras. You are truly wracked with worry, and it's eating you alive.

I intend to help you search for Natalie and Percy. You do not have any say in the matter.

[And with that, she grabs his hand, beginning a thorough search of the camp. She begins by charging over to the Poseidon cabin, opening the door and calling out to its only occupant.]

Percy?

[He gives Dany an indignant look, but she is dragging him towards the Poseidon cabin before he can even argue back.

Not that it stops him.]

I am fine mademoiselle.

[Though she's completely right, and that only frustrates him more. Enjolras likes to think that he's better at hiding his emotions, staying calm when everything is chaotic around him. Apparently not so much.

When there's no answer he walks passed her, peeking into the deserted cabin with a frown.]

He isn't here.

You should consider yourself quite lucky I have not called you by your given name yet, Ariel.

[She can be just as biting as he, if not even moreso. But it only takes a second to realize that Percy's cabin is practically abandoned, just as it must have been for so many years until he came along.]

We must check Hecate's as well.

[Any frustration towards Dany is forgotten at her words. He's already jogging towards the Hecate cabin when she speaks. He had checked it earlier in the day, but there's a sliver of hope that Natalie will be there now. Then they'd just have to worry about whatever Percy's gotten himself into.

Except Natalie isn't there.

A ball of ice drops into his stomach.]

... Time to sound the alarm.

Right.

[Dany nods, balling her hand into a fist. Whoever did this...she's certain that Percy Jackson, who has been on so many quests before and come back victorious every time, and Natalie Goodman, an amazing mage in her own right, could just up and go missing.]

We shall start at the Big House. I will create a flyer if you stand on the steps and spread the word.
