[ Never before had she thought she would ever be on horseback - on pegasusback. Heather has been in camp for nearly a year and during that time, she's developed a bond with one of the steeds in camp, a gray speckled horse named after a character from the Bond movies. Since it is Greek tradition that the children of Demeter or Aphrodite teach riding lessons, she is actually confident enough to lead a lesson for a few of the younger campers who are eager to take to the skies. Astonishingly (at least to herself), Heather is calm and collected, bubbly but firm in her instructions. If you're watching, there's almost a motherly air to her as she helps one of the girls off her horse.

She's just finishing up her teaching, so you're free to catch her on her way out. ]

[Annie had been needing some time away, and thusly, had come down to the stables to take one of the winged beauties out for a spin, to fly over and out across the water and simply take in the nothingness. But instead, she'd managed to catch the tail-end of a lesson Heather had been giving. So, instead of heading off into the great beyond, she stops, and waits until Heather dismisses the class. It's then that she approaches her.]

Heather! Hey, uhm, hi. You were- ah, really good. I just, uhm, caught the end of your lesson.

[excusing]

[ Heather's eyes light up at the praise and she bounces on her heels when she turns to face Annie. ] Hey! Oh gods, really? I didn't think I'd be, like. Effective. [ She slides her hands into the front pockets of her black shorts, shrugging a shoulder bashfully. She's been thinking a great deal about what Scott told her in the beginning of the month. ]
