[IM/Action] 04 Souls
[So after this quickly escalated on the 16th of February, Nico has decided that he's in a better frame of mind, and heart, to at least apologize to the camp. He is not going to apologize to Percy, and honestly still doesn't want to see him. The son of Hades is currently in the forest, looking a little uncomfortable.]
Ah...so, about last Sunday...I'm pretty sure that you guys may have noticed a small earthquake happened.
[Why does apologizing have to be so hard?]
That was my and Percy's fault. We had a little...disagreement.
["Disagreement" he says. His eyes betray that he means "heated argument."]
For those who don't know or might not realize this, this kind of thing happens when two children of the Big Three have strong disagreements between each other. You get a natural disaster, and luckily this one was small enough to not cause any damage that I'm aware of. Before you guys even think about it, don't try to get all three sets of children into an argument.
[Nico sighs.]
Anyway...since half of it was my fault, I wanted to...apologize for the incident. And for any fear or damage caused by it.
[He can't promise that it won't happen again, since that's an impossible promise to keep, but...well.]

[Pardon the unfortunate choice of words. He's just teasing.]

If you're asking if I apologized to Percy, then the answer is no and I'm not planning on doing that anytime soon.
[Wow, serious deja vu right there.]
We don't need to be separated, though. Normally, all of the children of the Big Three have been on good behavior. There are just going to be times where things like this accidentally happen. Better a mild earthquake than another World War, like the last time their children fought.

[Not that he could. It might irk him that he's outgunned by demigods, but he won't bring it up.
But the idea of the demigods starting a major-league war leaves him a bit skeptical.]
A world war? Seriously?
no subject
[He nods, and there's no trace of amusement as he does.]
World War II was a fight between the children of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. The gods were also taking sides to reflect that. Heck, the American Civil War was caused by Roman and Greek demigods fighting each other.

[He has no idea what happened to Asgard, after all.]
I can't help thinking it's a good thing the sons of Jupiter are pretty easygoing.
no subject
[Think positive?]
Yeah, you think that until you meet Jason's sister, Thalia. Daughter of Zeus, Artemis' lieutenant in the Hunters of Artemis. She's one of those people you have to see in order to really understand.
no subject
[He laughs.]
I did say sons. I don't think I've met any daughters, so I can't say because I'd hate to generalize. I prefer to avoid lightning strikes.
no subject
Well, there are daughters of Neptune in camp, and a daughter of Pluto. None of Jupiter's daughters are here, I think.
no subject
[God of death here, after all... but he's been giving Bay her space.]
Right, your sister just arrived.

That's true. Ares or Mars children would be just as good to talk to, though I'm not sure which one Odin would prefer more.
[He raises his eyebrows.]
Though, probably a good thing you're not in my cabin. I'm not sure how well Odin will take sleeping in a comfortable crypt.
no subject
[He's not exactly bragging, it's just true.]
no subject
In that case, don't let me stop you from using Cabin Thirteen if you need a place to crash that isn't the Hecate Cabin!
no subject
[They get along okay, but Hel and Odin are not renowned for their cordiality.]
Though the birds and Khufu may eventually drive me to it.
no subject
[He looks amused.]
no subject
...birds fly, Nico.
[He finally cracks a smile.]
Besides, they're still annoying even without the baboon's help. I think they're bored.
no subject
Really, Owens, I never would've guessed.
[At least there's no real heat to it.]
Have you tried playing with them?
no subject
Then I'm glad to have informed you.
[He shrugs.]
Yeah. I think the problem is that they haven't really been doing their jobs. You know, flying out every day to spy on mortals and bring me back news of their doings.
no subject
I can understand that. Maybe they would be happier if they could spy on the mortals in the city? I'm sure they're tired of camp gossip by now.
no subject
[He's really uncomfortable with the birds spying on anyone, honestly- unless there's a clear and present need for it. What right does he have to watch like that?]
no subject
no subject
[He already hears way more about the camp than he wants to.]
But it might be worth a shot. You're right, I can tell them to shut up.
[On the other hand, he doesn't really want to have his bird friends gone most of the day. He's kind of used to them. Not that he'd miss them, of course not, that would be overly emotional and shit.]
no subject
[Hey, Nico understands that. He's pretty sure Cerberus has separation anxiety every time the son of Hades leaves the Underworld.]
no subject
[And so would the rest of Hecate Cabin.]
Plus it would be a way of scouting for the Red Room without putting any of us in danger.
