[So after this quickly escalated on the 16th of February, Nico has decided that he's in a better frame of mind, and heart, to at least apologize to the camp. He is not going to apologize to Percy, and honestly still doesn't want to see him. The son of Hades is currently in the forest, looking a little uncomfortable.]

Ah...so, about last Sunday...I'm pretty sure that you guys may have noticed a small earthquake happened.

[Why does apologizing have to be so hard?]

That was my and Percy's fault. We had a little...disagreement.

["Disagreement" he says. His eyes betray that he means "heated argument."]

For those who don't know or might not realize this, this kind of thing happens when two children of the Big Three have strong disagreements between each other. You get a natural disaster, and luckily this one was small enough to not cause any damage that I'm aware of. Before you guys even think about it, don't try to get all three sets of children into an argument.

[Nico sighs.]

Anyway...since half of it was my fault, I wanted to...apologize for the incident. And for any fear or damage caused by it.

[He can't promise that it won't happen again, since that's an impossible promise to keep, but...well.]

It'll give them something to do, and it won't be uncomfortable for you getting too much information on someone's life.

Some things you just don't want to know. Good thing I can keep secrets.

[The ravens weren't around for Nico and Percy's little chat, so he doesn't know that secret, of course.]

I think you'd have to be with twin gossiping birds.

[Praise all the gods from every pantheon for that.]

What are their names? I only really remember that they were thought and memory?

[He's not even sure he got that right. Norse hadn't clicked with him as much as Greek and Roman did.]

Yeah, Huginn and Muninn. They're hard to tell apart if you can't hear the way they talk.

[Huginn often takes his left shoulder and Muninn the right, but even that changes.]

[The birds are an object of interest to him, so here's another bonding point for these two.]

Do they have differences in body language?

Huginn's a little more active and jumpy. Muninn's not exactly slower, but he is less likely to investigate whatever catches his eye.

[The birds know they're being talked about. They come from wherever they were to land on Rhys's shoulders, croaking at Nico.]

[They're like cats. They just know. Nico is going to assume that the birds are very intelligent, so he nods respectfully at them. Seriously, it's safer this way.]

Nice to meet you both. I, ah, don't know how much they're going to care for me. Normally, animals of any kind don't like me.

Well, they're not exactly worried about death or its presence.

[Ravens are battlefield scavengers, after all, and these two are companions to one of the Norse gods of the dead...]

I'm sure they'd be fine.

[Huginn croaks and shrugs his wings, making Rhys hide a laugh.]

He says, and I quote, 'I ain't scared of you, you're nothin' but skin and bones'. Sorry.

That's true enough.

[There's some wicked amusement in his dark eyes.]

Maybe I'll be hungry enough to see if raven tastes like chicken, bird.
