Petal 09 -- IM/Action

[Jehan is out in his garden today, weeding and planting and basically being a son of Demeter. Not his poisons today, thankfully, but his flowers. Daisies, roses, tulips--all the flowers.]

I'll be making flower crowns for May Day next week, if people are interested! I know it's not really a holiday but after this odd winter, I feel it would be appropriate to celebrate the spring in some way.

[He smiles and goes to cut the rainbow before making a soft "oh" sound and turning back to it, blushing]

Oh, and...Nico, I. I was wondering if you would like to go with me on a trip of sorts. To Venice! Marianne has gone to visit her girlfriend and she said that if I wanted to stop by now that I can she would treat me and a friend to dinner. So...yes. Do you want to go to Venice?

[Nico is just. Staring blankly at the rainbow before the words actually hit him. He almost falls out of the tree he's sitting in. It sounds like a date, but Nico is refusing to see it as anything more than maybe a friend date. Because Jehan said friend. That makes it friend...ly.... Yeah.

I was thinking Monday! I've already asked permission to go and had it granted. I haven't thought about transportation, though. I was thinking a pegasus, unless you can shadow travel to Venice and not pass out.

You're...probably not going to convince a pegasus to let me ride it. They don't like me, and I'm very much fine with that.

[He doesn't...like pegasi, unlike his sister who loves horses of all kinds.]

I can do shadow travel to Venice, but I'll need a nap for a few hours after.

Oh, it's not a date. Nico simply hasn't been to Venice in a while and it's where he was born!

[Enjolras is oblivious to most things in the way of romance, but even he realizes Jehan is asking Nico out.

[Verbal keysmashing before Jehan throws a crumbled up seed packet at his sister]

Naomi! There is no kissing!

I would love the help with the crowns and the lessons! Nico's been teaching me but a little extra tutoring won't hurt, I think.

[Hazel wants a flower crown, but that's not the point. The point is Jehan just asked Nico to Venice. You don't just do that. Also, this is her chance to show Nico that she supports him. Really.

If he doesn't go to Venice with you, I'm going to make him.
