[ You'll find yourself looking at a grave centaur first thing this morning, just before the Romans start their training. ] Campers, I've an important announcement to make. Now, you know very well that we have protective borders around Camp Half-Blood. After last summer's incident, we've taken great care to ensure that we have several lines of defense with both force and Mist.

Followers of Lycaon - wolves - have been spotted just outside of camp. It is believed that they continue to align themselves with Gaea.

There have been no attacks, but I trust that all of you will keep your eyes and ears open for any signs of trouble. No campers will be leaving. [ Have a pointed look for some of you. ] However, we must keep our wits about us. Prepare accordingly. The Athena cabin has necessary information on the followers should you choose to educate yourselves on the matter. I hope you will.

I know. I've been in these woods before. [Since before Derek was born, actually.] you're close to the borders, which is why I mention it. I don't know how familiar with them you are.

[She runs up a few paces on to the fist.] I'm Elizabeth.

I'm aware. [ Though he's blunt, there's no bite to Derek's voice to imply annoyance or rudeness. His eyes just scan the area, senses on edge. ]

Lupa's patrolling with her pack, but she can't keep watch over every area. [ He's worried, but not really for himself. Despite the prejudice that even other werewolves have against him for being a demigod, he's more concerned for the rest of the camp. So while he might be hiding out here, he's not just twiddling his thumbs. ]

[She's got one-ear turned to the forest. If anything tries to get past her, there'll be Hades to pay.]

She can't. One of the reasons I'm out.

[ It'd be so much easier to prowl the borders of the barrier alone, where he doesn't have to be worried about looking suspect, but he keeps quiet on it. Stays where he is for now. ]

[ He's curious, at least. While he knows that there are those gifted with immortality around, he hasn't really spoken with any of them. ]
