[Tybalt, as usual, is serious]

A reminder to the rest of the camp that this Tuesday is the full moon as well as a lunar eclipse. I don't think I need to remind most of you but just in case--it is in your best interest to stay inside that night and to ignore any odd sounds you may hear, lest you do something you regret like attack another camper by mistake.

[Read: stay inside and if you sneak out for the love of Ra don't attack any of the werewolves because if you do Tybalt might tear you a new one.

Related, if you see a tabby cat wandering around, please, do yourself a favor and assume it's capable of human intelligence so you don't look like an idiot when it turns out to be me. I won't be responsible for whatever happens to the next person to try "here kitty kitty".

[Sojourner opens her mouth, but pauses, confused.]

I'm confused. What does a lunar eclipse have to do with the full moon?

[What's this "staying inside" business you speak of Tybalt? Like hell she's doing that.]

The full moon has long held supernatural powers. [Werewolves] Do you really think a total lunar eclipse won't affect that?

[She raises an eyebrow, about to continue but-]

Wait. Why don't we talk in person?

[Because potentially revealing certain things on an IM that everyone can see? Not the smartest of things to do.]

The roof of Hermes cabin, where I usually am in this shape.

[Tybalt might catch her mouthing 'this shape?' to herself as she waves a hand through the rainbow.

A few minutes later and she's in front of the Hermes cabin, frowning to herself as she looks around it.]

Want me to climb up there or you wanna come down?

[willyouwalk]

I'm not moving from this spot. It's comfortable.

[Typical cat]

[Eye roll.]

Okay.

[She shifted her weight, looking at the cabin before nodding to herself.]

Okay!

[It takes her a few minutes, but soon she's managed to climb up the side of the cabin. Once she's sure she's not going to fall over she turns to face Tybalt, hand on her hips.]

Why should I stay inside?

Because if you stay inside you're less likely to do something stupid that ends with you getting hurt, other campers being hurt, and other campers no longer being trust within the borders of the camp.

[Sojourner has to snort at that, eyebrow raised.]

I'm pretty sure I'd still be doing something stupid if I'm inside.

[No, seriously, she got stuck under her bed the other day Tybalt. Sojourner's good at doing stupid things.]

Sorry though, no can do with the staying inside.

[She cocks her head to the side.]

This because of the werewolves?

...oh, you know about them? Yes, it is. People do stupid things when threatened and I don't want them attacking the werewolves.

I've been hanging around the past couple full moons in the woods with one of them.

[He shrugs]

It has to be him, as I am the only one I know of who Derek likes enough to let hang around him. You can ignore my warning, then.

Erk. Um. Yeah, yeah it's Scoot.

[Well there goes outting him. She'll just take solace in the fact Tybalt apparently knows about Derek too. Derek seems like the type that would only the people he trusts most know about his furry side.]
