[ Leo's been scarce for the last few days. He's shown up once or twice, but he's vanished just as quickly, with hardly a word to anyone except maybe his sister. Anyone observant may have noticed him sporting a new leather tool belt, but who really looks that hard? He's just a mechanic, after all.

So where's he been? That's a Cabin Nine secret. But when he reemerges, he's landing a giant dragon automaton made of Celestial bronze somewhere between the arena and the forges. Look, guys, he's got wings now! ]

[Sojourner is halfway to the Pegasus stalls when she hears the noise of something landing. She spins around, and when she sees what looks like a giant dragon her eyes go wide.

With everything that's happened she doesn't hesitate running forward, hand going to her belt where her dagger is. She's prepared to leap into battle... At least until she sees Leo.

She comes skidding to a halt, blinking up at him.]

Uh, Obi-Wan, what's with the dragon?

His name is Festus.

[ Festus eyes the dagger suspiciously as Leo jumps down. ]

Isn't he awesome?!

Uh, duh.

[He's an automaton dragon. Her hand leaves the dagger immediately as she looks at the dragon, then Leo with awed eyes.]

Did you make it?

[ And that's where his face falls a little. ]

No. Dany and I found him in the woods. But I fixed him up, added the wings!

You mean to tell me there's been a dragon in our woods. Are you serious?

[She's shocked, because she's been running through those woods since she was fifteen and never caught sight of a dragon.]

You lucky ducks!

I dunno about lucky; he tried to kill me a few times.

[ Even if the first time was completely accidental. ]

Wanna ride? He showed me this awesome workshop you'd love.

[Sojourner looks from Leo to Festus to Leo again with eyes as wide as saucers.]

Seriously?

[And her voice is a bit breathless from the sheer notion she could actually ride the dragon, which would mean potentially flying. Actually flying, not running from rooftop to rooftop like she does back home pretending.

There's a disbelieving look on her face because no way this is actually happening.]

[ Bad question. Moving on, Leo flashes a grin and does a little flourish, gesturing for her to go ahead. ]
